Euskaltel has revamped their TDF team, in what Procyclingnews is calling an attempt to be more competitive for the overall GC victory, by eliminating some of the pure climbers and replacing them with rouleurs who should be able to turn out a better TTT time.

Basque climbing gnome Roberto Laiseka has been relegated to reserve #1.

Oh well, maybe we'll see you in the Vuelta, Roberto.(or, heaven forbid , someone will have to be replaced before the start.)

He was supposed to be the next in line. Maybe he'll get his start now or maybe he stopped training and isn't ready.

Yeah that's sad. Boy they have some great climbers, they kinda remind me of the old cafe de columbia team from the late 80's.
