Triple training days

How often do any of you ride 3x in a day? I got two hours in this morning, and am racing a crit tonight. Hope is to squeeze a lunch ride and some core work in at lunch as well.

couple times a week

commute in 30m easy

nooner 20m burn em if you got em fast

go home 30m tempo

i remember the first time i tried this and the trip home was a challenge but i seem to have adjusted...and i figured out keeping it between 200-230 watts on the way in goes a long ways at lunch.

I'm planning on doing 3 races next Saturday (35+, cat3, and the afternoon finals). Does that count?

What do you do for core? I'm kind of basic with planks, transverse planks, sit-ups, and push-ups.

Planks and transverse: http://www.performancebike.com/content/core_muscles.cfm

In off-season I do bikram yoga a couple times a week which includes bridges and boat poses.

In answer to your question: typically I did kettle bell swings, crunches, ab roller, and then I'd hold a 5 pound plate in each hand and swing them in a canoe rowing kind of motion. I'd do a circuit.
