6 minute abs...

in light of all the 2 a days and now the 3 a days training going on in here,

...i thought we should discuss other "quantity over quality" type of things.

Discuss.

I have a program called Legendary Abs that takes < 6 minutes. It is the greatest thing ever.

I love my housemates stability ball, I've really strengthened my lower back so staying in the drops an entire 50 minute crit isn't a problem anymore.

I don't think you really need to focus on your abs, your back plays a much bigger part in stability on the bike. I still do one set of crunches and a few other exercises work the abs too but I mostly go after my lower back.

I have a stability ball, but can't seem to get myself to use it regularly even for 6 minutes. However, I don't have trouble staying in the drops for an entire crit, or for most of a 3 hour road race for that matter.

If you did 12 minute abs, would you get results twice as fast?

You should always work your back after abs, do planks, raises, etc.

Crunches with a weight ball
Leg lifts with a dumbbell
Side crunches
Hyperextensions
Twists
Hanging leg raises

I pick three and rotate sets between them, go do some light dumbbell work, then rotate sets with the last three. Then I'll do some more light dumbbell work.
