hardly get out of a chair without using your arms or walk up a flight of stairs afterwards?

I had one of these last week, and other than that ,2 epics, including a half ironman. I need to do this sort of thing more often.

Can't say I get that way from the bike anymore (maybe that's part of my problem). But last time I did get that sore was from doing an hour of plyometrics. Couldn't walk right, take stairs, or do anything that involved my calves. I was off the bike for a week.

I was that way after iron cross last year. Just all over fatigue/soreness. Can't really emulate that sort of stress in the gym of on the road.

so is that good or bad... either I am a wuss and out of shape, or i'm more hardcore than most, judging by the lack of responses.
