Just go ahead and rub it in. A Cat4 race with real actual climbing. I want to go!

Studying the race bible. Pez cycling also had a good review of the race from a pro's perspective. I'm looking at a pretty brutal ride, at least a few guys in my field that are going at an upper P1/2 level right now.

I just need my 1 upgrade asap. Cat 2 field, lots of climbing... should come out of it with quite a few points. Still need 24

And thanks Joe

So lots of excuses, but so far it's just Ze, Racer, and Myself, all in different categories?

I'm not, but at least one friend is coming out for it. All the way from Raleigh, NC.

If I were a pro I would consider driving across the country to race. But as a Cat 4, not so much.

I think it's the fact that this race is open to lower categories that makes it so rad. Pros have the Tours of everything to ride, but this is the only (that I know of) 5 day stage race that I can sign up for. I'm not sure how long cascade is, but regardless, this is an opportunity to pretend we're pros for a week and I'm all over it.

So much fun.

I've always wanted to do this race, especially now that I'm eligible for the 40+ race.
So many races, so little time...

Good chunk of the 1,2,3 field from this past weekends race (Brookhaven MS) will be there. 60 minute crit at 30+ MPH wasnt too fun.

Some of those guys are rolling damn strong right now. Should be a good race.

I'm out as well. Overloaded with school, can't miss a whole week right before finals. Gave up my spot to another teammate who isn't in school anymore.

Bummin'

I really hope that this is true.

Made the news up here in Albuquerque, too. Would be a great thing for this race and the sponsors to have some big names showing up, especially since the race almost didn't happen because of lack of sponsorship. I suspect if Lance ("LANCE!") shows up, this race could gain more mainstream attention and maybe even show up on TV one year a la Versus.

I really want to do this one year, but I'm, not in the kind of shape I need to be for it now (and I'm going to be out of town on business, too).
