He shows up quite a bit throughout both the Giro and TDF from what i recall and seems every time, he keeps a decent amount of distance. Moron? Maybe.

More.
More.
More. (The same "ed rader" as we have here on BF, i assume)

Europe has Didi...we have "Antler Guy". I'm ok with it.

With Ed's blessing, I'm going to the Tour de France with a loaded pistol. I will then proceed to run alongside the peloton, waving the barrel of the gun in their direction. My finger will be out of the trigger guard, though.

I look forward to Ed defending my character when pictures of me not hurting anyone pop up on the internet.

I thought it was weird that he'd be running along in his road shoes, but he mentioned that Sidi pays him to wear their shoes. Might be money well spent--he's got us talking about him and looking at his photos.

Props to him I say.
He's no different than Didi, or the Specialized angel (ok she didn't run)
or the schluggies (sic) as bobke calls them, or any other colorful characters seen
on the road at any major tour.

No different except for the large horns that could kill somebody if he trips.

I figure that these guys running alongside with huge flags waving to be more of a threat to riders, hate to think what would happen if a strong gust happened to blow the flag into a wheel.

How does he afford to go to all of these tours? That's what I want to know. What job will allow me to be gone for the TOC, the Giro, and the TDF as well as allow me to pay to get there and enjoy it?
