He must have seen Lance's sprint win @ the Tour of Georgia!

I'm getting the feeling that Jan is in a lot better shape than Lanceamaniacs want to believe. Word is that he's pretty thin.

He won the stage by chasing down a two man break and then outsprinting all of them.

Awesome news. Despite all of this talk about Mayo and Hamilton, Lance and Jan are still the two big favorites, no questions asked IMO.

Go Jan go!

It's funny how we look at every sign. Lance comes in fifth in the TT on VEntoux, and everyone's OH NO! He's going to lose the tour! Jan wins a stage and we think he's going to win! Let's face it, we all should know by now it's not always easy to predict. However, this does show for sure that Jan is getting into form for the tour;the Tour of Switzerland is usually one of the last big chances to test your form for the tour, that and the Tour of Catalunia. I don't think Jan is aiming to win the TDS anyways, he's working for Vinokurov, but it's great to see him win a stage. Go JAN!

I think you guys forget Jan used to be a great sprinter before he was a GC contender. Despite what you may think, bridging up to a break the rider has an advantage if the break is playing games.
Jan used Serguei Ivanov's favorite method of winning races.
