Escaped from the company long enough to get an hour z2 on the trainer. Probably the same tomorrow although it will be a beautiful day for a ride.

3 hours with some BF peeps today. Gorgeous weather..

Came home and raked the front yard for an hour, plus other various chores. If I get six hours in tomorrow, I'll have my 20 for the week and can take Sunday off (Monday's always a rest day regardless).

Found some motivation to get on my trainer tonight. Pacing workout. Ended up with a solid 10 watt improvement across the board (10, 8, 8, 6, 4). Looking forward to some longer group rides.

Why are you doing such horrible intervals already???

My racing calender starts in the end of feb and I'm not even doing 2x20s till next week

I don't really know. They seem to be really helping, even on longer rides. I'm trying to peak for a crit series in march, because after that motocross takes over my schedule.

50 degrees and pouring rain...WTF...i live in socal and pay the sunshine tax for a reason!!

Good ride today though...our normally 50+ people group was down to 5 today....what a bunch of nancys...fair weather riders.

3.5 hours of cold and rain puts a little more money in the suffering bank right?

Riding around in the wind today. The wind wouldn't allow an endurance pace so 2 hours of light tempo it was. Just happy to be outside in late November.

1' test today. 770W.

Oh well, it's a good starting point for 2010, considering I haven't done a bit of AWC work in the last 3 months. I need to add the missing 50W quickly, then try to find another 50W. This is going to hurt. This is going to be fun...

Stupid Madone has been silent and solid for the last two rides. I'm going to give it some time...

Tonight I hit it with two sprints over 1550W plus the 770W 1' and heard nothing.

Yeah, I've got a team deal forthcoming, a couple side deals available, and an auction I'm watching...

I'll hit it hard in the rain this week and see how it comes out.

sdbc?

Getting ready for 90 min of hard tempo. Group ride yesterday was very hard but I still feel like I can do some good work out there as afer the ride yesterday I napped, then did nothing but loaf around, eat and study at a very leisurley rate.

33F out there right now. I'm a San Diego boy myself but after 4 years up here I will be fine with just knee warmers, arm warmers, wool jersey, cap, wind vest, shoecovers and long gloves.

2 hours with the team (a little slower + shorter than I would have liked), then an arm and core workout.

205' ride. negative split:

first 95' @ 242 / 68%
second 85' @ 282 / 80%

solid 3.1 hours @ 73% and I dont feel trashed at all.

Also 3050kjs on under 500 calories consumed which bodes well for the "fat as fuel" thing.

All nice signs.

A day or two of rest, now.
