Tomorrow, after I meet with the town, I'm putting some crit bars back on my bike and going out and making up for two days of "too tired to ride". I actually just woke up from a 2 hour nap.

Today was pretty stressful, and Mike the cat was a minor part of it. He didn't come away unscathed - a one inch square of shaved neck for drawing blood. Otherwise he's all good.

Still recovering from a cold that the UCLA RR made worse, so I'm sticking to trainer workouts. First time I've done the whole progression (20/10/5/2.5/1/.5) from one of the listed workouts. Didn't think I'd need 5 minutes of rest between each set going in, but they started to go by really fast. Next up is the Swami's Wednesday morning ride! I hope my legs are rested and my cold's gone or else it's going to be a sad, lonely ride through Pendleton.

Replaced my bars and cables yesterday. Rode the bike for the first time since Friday this morning. Meeting intervals scheduled in 90 minutes, then some more riding.

Are you just really really aero when you sprint? That could do it too.

I've seen you race and you're a bit of a monster, so I think part of it is that your numbers don't really drop that much because you're quite the motor.

It didn't say 1 or 2, but had 13 routines (step 8 being 3 parts).

Starting a training plan next week from Coach Pat who did my VO2 test. Going to have to move to morning rides as many are 2 hours long and I can't get that in during lunch and they don't work with the group rides I was doing during the week so lots of solo work with the power meter. I can't wait until the time changes. Great thing is he worked them around and for my races. I'm hoping to make gradual and significant improvements this year. GL to all reaching your goals and keep posting them. Getting up at 5:30am I'm going to need all the encouragement I can read. Cheers
