It's funny, despite the pain, fatigue, and nausea, I have been having weirdly good workouts lately. PE and HR are down relative to power on the bike and even threshold intervals aren't that taxing, stuff that is usually challenging in yoga is just flowing, and today at the gym I managed to not puke on my 20' warm up run (there were some doubts for a minute), then did 3 x 10 squats @135 lbs., 3 x 25" negative chin ups, 3 x 20 pushups, and 3 x 10 lat pulldowns @90 lbs. My HR was crazy high on the spin bike after, and I was sweating like a maniac, but the lifting itself was fine.

Ever seen Phenomenon?
Also, I don't think I can squat 135lbs. Haven't been able to do any resistance work with the collarbone fracture...

Nope, never heard of it. I'm pretty happy with the squats since I only weigh 130. And now I get to use the big girl (45lb.) plates on the bar, so that's fun.

3x10 @ 135 is good stuff.
I haven't been to the gym all week. My hip (back/wherever the pain is coming from) is absolutely killing me today. Sigh.
You probably have the best legs on your team!

Far from it. One of my teammates is a former pro soccer player and one of the better sprinters in the area. Her legs are unbelievable. Another is a former dancer and personal trainer who's been lifting weights her whole life. Compared to them I manage to somehow look scrawny and fat at the same time.
My idea of fun

Training part 1: 2.5 hrs, hopefully no pain in the hamstring region
Training part 2: Continuing to work on the site.
If you ever raced with dopers, you might like my latest design.

Oh wait, I did race against one guy who got popped 3 weeks later...

1:15 on my outside bread and butter ride. Felt pretty good.
Srm is in the mail today on the way back to me (mailed it to them on Saturday). Battery replacement for crank and head unit is not cheap. But, I felt like they took great care of me as they basically overhauled/refurbished the entire crank for a very reasonable rate (there were some issues). I'm giving them an A+ for customer care.

Tested 30 minutes for the first time this season. 382w with my weight holding steady around 68kg. Going to take it easy for the rest of the weekend especially with the crazy wind we have in CT now.

I'm just a 2 (upgraded after last summer) but hoping to make strides toward racing at the elite/domestic level this year. I'll be at Battenkill and Elite Nationals in the TT. I'm trying to post more stuff online now that the spring is around the corner. I posted the garmin connect file to the test over in the "Share your ride with Garmin" thread in the general road cycling forum. Any other folks from CT around? Would love some riding company with the weather improving!
