Commuting this week and not going to do much else after the weekend crash. Just trying to get my head back together. A hike is in order.

Ran. Did plyo drills. Nothing sexy, but I feel like it'll pay off in 2013.

nice ride, it was a warm 40 degrees at the start of my ride, and a slightly chilly 38 degrees. 2 hours of fun in the sun, with a 1x40 minute .85 IF interval thrown in at the end.

Tempo tune-up post-travel recovery. Felt nice to get out and turn it over, but legs are a bit stiff and sore from the hike yesterday.

Streaming entertainment? Works for me. I can camp out at tempo/endurance to that stuff for hours.

Squeezed in 1:20 with ~1 hour at tempo before dark yesterday. Feeling pretty wrecked today. I might be coming down with something, but then it might also have something to do with staying up late watching the news last night with a nice, stiff drink. Or both. I guess it could be both.

Looks like the weather will be nice the rest of the week though so get to feeling better.

That's the idea. Off for today; I have Real Job things to do anyway. I'm under the weather but not too badly, hopefully I will recover quickly. You still doing Sunday rides? I can't make this week (or this month, in all likelihood), but will have some more freedom deeper in the winter. Of course, I know how weak-willed and cowardly you are when it comes to riding in the cold...

hard tempo ride this morning turned into ~45 of hungover z1 to retrieve my car in Pacific Beach.

I don't regret it.

Tempo will commence as usual tomorrow morning.

2 hours z2. I forgot how much consistant z2 rides (with tempo interlaced) back to back to back, et etc. can drain your legs!

I'll get you added to a group ride that leaves out our way every Saturday morning (60 mile base pace ride).
And yes I am a meow-meow when it gets cold
Sundays have been hit or miss lately but if we do I will let you know.

1st time on the MTB in a while & at night to boot. Fun but sketchy at times.

End/tempo ride w/ some intervals thrown in on the CX bike tonight. We have a double track trail around a lake w/ hard packed sand & gravel that makes for a fast, fun ride on the cross bike.

1 hour Zone 2 last night. Stressful work day and didn't eat enough. Had to kill a Clif Bar halfway through.

Huge dinner, then 1:30 on trainer early this AM with 2x20 @ 310, 312 in the middle. Racing next Sunday.
