Just curious how many hours a week most of you are training. Feel free to include any additional information you feel necessary.

I spend about 10 to 12 hours a week on the bike, 4 or 5 running, 2 or 3 in the water.
Looking to make that 14 to 15 on the bike next year, and dropping most of the other stuff.

8-10 is all that is necessary for the short racing we do here in MABRA at the Cat 3/4 level. So long as it's quality training being done.

Always shoot for 10 hrs. on the bike, both training and racing. Lately it's been closer to 7 hrs., but heavily skewed towards racing.

Average throughout the season. I understand when building base or racing a lot, the training volume will change.

training hours ~ 11
racing hours < 0
It's actually somewhat enjoyable to ride a bike for no reason other than beat my training partner in sprints and float through the local group rides.

Bikes: Specialized Tarmac SL3 will full carbon everything/everywhere and Zipp 404 tubulars for racing. Cyclocross bike is a 56cm carbon Blue CXc with carbon everywhere.

On average, 8 hours = 2 hrs on Tues, off Wed, 2hrs on Thurs, off Fri, 2.5hrs on Sat, 1.5hrs on Sun. If racing, then just Tues/Thurs at 4hrs + couple hours of weekend racing. Seems enough for Masters racing if I avoid the extremely long or extremely hilly road races and make it all high quality training.

10-13 hours a week.
Much less if I'm on vacation or traveling. If the weather's really dreary all week, then I skip a workout or two. I can't stand riding in the rain for a week straight.

I usually get in around 8 hours or so. About an hour a day on the bike during lunch, then some running/walking when I get home at night.
I'd like to ramp it up a little, but there isn't enough time in the day right now. I'm just doing what I can when time allows.
