Post race doping

Starts here.

For those of you who imbibe that is. I will sip my Dunkin Donuts and watch you all devolve into drooling idiots.

If he was smart he would use the $ to upgrade the Shack bikes to Di2. Of course the Shack bikes should have Di2, since they have electronic gizmos.

"The key word is we tried to be authentic,"

"He's the perfect athlete to connect with adult beer drinkers who lead active lifestyles and also a balanced lifestyle,"

Authentic and active - but not quite balanced.

there was plenty of beer drinking by racers during the Ommegang Cross race. I was at the beer hand-up area.

I must say, however, that this health-minded drinker wouldn't be caught dead drinking Michelob Ultra. Blech. I prefer my beer to have taste. I am currently relaxing with a Stockyard Oatmeal Stout! Yum! That's more like it. I wish that there were more tasty beer brands out there as sponsors for cycling events; the stuff doesn't need to be low-calorie to have a positive association with athletics.

Having said that, Michelob isn't beer. It's lightly alcoholic water. I'm envious of the guys with the Sierra Nevada sponsorship, but I almost feel bad for Lance.

One of the few jerseys I would wear other than my own.

Yeah.

If you're around in the area around race season, I'll have to take you to Eli Cannons.

I was gonna go there with Botto, but our schedules never lined up.

“Lance Armstrong is an ideal ambassador for this brand and we are honored to have him represent Michelob ULTRA,” said Keith Levy, vice president of marketing at Anheuser-Busch. “Having dominated a sport that requires such a physical commitment, Lance is the perfect athlete to connect with adult beer drinkers who lead active lifestyles.”
say what now?

We've got a group of local century riders who have put together a "team" and are sponsored by MGD 64. Seriously.

Michelob ULTRA tastes nasty. My team is sponsored by Iron Hill Brewery and there is another local team sponsored by Victory Brewing Company, I am jealous as Victory beer is the greatest. (I hope no other Iron Hill racers see this)

No argument wanted. The statement just struck me funny. As one who cannot control his drinking, I'm seeing it from a different perspective.
The last time I had a beer was 1990 in Hope, Arkansas. 2 Miller Lites. I wish it had been something better.
Enjoy your hops!

health minded drinkers don't drink enough to market crappy beer to. amazing the wool that marketeers can pull over the eyes of people.
