200 calories 90' before a ride... is that blinky-eye-face worthy?

for the first time since I passed the weight probably somewhere in the 5th or 6th grade, I've stepped on the scale to see 16X for a few days in a row. 168 for my hill-climb yesterday, and 169 today. I'm still doing my bodyweight exercises to (hopefully) retain muscle, and my arms are finally starting to get that thin-but-ropey look.

soo hungry though. body so wants to be 175lbs.

Down about 65lbs in the last 8 months. That last 15lbs is killing me.... damn I hate salad.

On the plus side I will soon be a non-clydesdale, which is cool because I'm 6'5"

Setting up for 3 days of crits in the sweltering heat and racing in 6 of them (finishing 4) kept the weight off. And I ate pretty much anything that was available. Except the pizza. I love pizza but not in 100F heat after a couple of tough races.

Giant spinach salad with grilled chicken, tomato, cucumbuer, cashews and a drop of ranch dressing. I got a cookie for dessert. What! I couldn't resist.

CRAP! I should have looked at the calories before I ate that damn thing. 470!! Guess I'm not getting a rest day today. Back on the trainer tonight.

Without getting into the accuracy of the Tanita scale bf%, it is definitely trending down. Good, except the weight is trending up. If I was still training for football, I'd be thrilled. But I'm not, I'm training for Nevada City.

Gah! Even when I'm getting fit, I'm too fat for this sport.

Same. Weight up 3-4lbs (likely water after resumption of allowing salt after hill climb race) but bf% down to 9.5 (on tanita scale). We'll see how much I can sweat out tonight on Page Mill.
