Tubulars - how long does glue last?
before you have to reglue the tire?
And can you reuse the tire if it's in good shape?
(I have some wheels that came with Vittoria Pave tubulars on them. Never had an issue, but it's been a few years.)

My protocol: Test them by hand, when in doubt reglue. Different glues age differently, and part of that will depend on how they were stored.
And yes, you can re-use. On tires with bare (non latex covered) base tape check to see if that glue job has been compromised, on coated base tape check the condition of the latex for bubbles and areas where it may no longer be adhering to the base tape.

I recently looked into this and the sources I've seen and by asking around recommend reglueing tires once a season. I think this is pretty good advice as it insures good fresh glue and gives you a chance to fully inspect rims and true the wheels if necessary. A good project for this time of year before race season arrives. As stated above you can reuse a tire, just scrape the excess glue off the base tape before you reglue it.

like stated i have heard a lot of people just reglue every year. seems a little excessive but i guess it is better to be safe than sorry (although by constantly redoing them there is probably a higher chance to screw it up).

yea, tires can last more than a season. if your only using for them racing, they can last a good bit.
I reglue once a season just for good measures. I tend to replace the tires too. Its good to know you have good glue and a good tire for the season.

I just take my hands and try to separate the tire from the rim. If it begins to pull loose, re-glue it.

I use tape.
I pump the tires to about 70psi and try to pry them off the rims with my hands. If I can get them to move I re-tape.
If there is ever ANY doubt in my mind I re-tape.
If they are wheels someone else will use I re-Tape.
