The Power Profile Thread

I thought it would be interesting to have a thread where you could compare your Power Profile with other racers. So with that, I'd like to introduce the posting format-

Current Category- Mid cat 3
Years Racing- 2
Season Peak- April/May
Your Specialty- All-around

Are we talking peaks or current? Because my best 5s so far this season is about 600w.

Ok I'll bite. I can't make your pretty graph thingie since I don't have WKO. But here's the chart I keep with my log. Red is PB, yellow is since the middle of October. I just updated the yellow right before I took the screenshot based on the numbers on my Golden Cheetah CP plot.

*Edit*
Current Category- Cat 1
Years Racing- on the road? 3
Season Peak- 1st peak May, 2nd August
Your Specialty- Outsprinting climbers
/edit

Apparently I did sprint at some point, don't remember when. I have done a few "spirited" group rides sort of by accident, but nothing I would qualify as hard.

I'll be back in a year. Until then, I'm too embarrassed. I've never really tested most of them, so my 1 min barely even registers.

Years Racing- since coming out of retirement: 3 since inception: 18 (first 5 years and last 3 active)
Season Peak- 1st peak Feb, 2nd April
Your Specialty- kilo efforts

FTP right now is about 4.2, but I never have 1-hour tests, so it doesn't show. 5' power is untested, but probably about 5.3W/kg. 1' power and 5" power are in the rebuild stage:

Oh come on guys, I'm embarrassed about how much I've lost too. Current charts/numbers. It's November, it's like a cold swimming pool. It's okay.

Jerry: Do women know about shrinkage?
Elaine: What do you mean like laundry?
Jerry: No, like when a man goes swimming afterwards.
Elaine: It shrinks?
Jerry: Like a frightened turtle!
Elaine: Why does it shrink?
George Costanza: It just does.
Elaine: I don't know how you guys walk around with those things.

Meh.

current

ftp - ~315w
5s - ~1000w

that's about all I've done testing wise since starting 2010 training. I've done a ~500w 1 minute interval in there somewhere, but it wasn't part of testing, just climbing a hill. My power profile normally favors my 5 minute power btw.. (it's like this on the wang chart 5s -- cat5 capability, 1' -- cat3, 5' -- cat1, ftp -- cat2)

I'll know more in a couple of weeks, I'm still in base..

I haven't tested at all this season. I just got my PowerTap back no too long ago. But I have had some good numbers in the 5min and 20min. Not so good numbers in the 1min and 5sec.

Most of them are over 5s. But there was a day when it was cold and raining when I stepped outside and said F it. So it was shorter.

Your Specialty- I suck the least at really long climbs

Golden cheetah doesn't have a built-in e-wang chart yet, so here's my 2010 season values using w/kg

5 sec: "untrained"
1 min: "untrained"
5 min: "good
ft: "moderate"

I expect my 5 sec and ft to suck as I haven't been doing any sprints or 1 hour climbs.
But even when looking at my all time best my 1 min never rises above "fair".

Here's this season's CP plot:

I'm too embarrassed to post my current profile. So here is mine from the middle of the year when I was racing. Like Waterrockets I have never done a 1 hour test so my FT is always low.

Your Specialty - not special (I think even my mom would agree).

I've been off power for awhile (that is about to change), but my 'all time highs' weren't so great
FT = 3.6?
5 s = 15.6
1 min = 7.4
5 min = 4.5

I'll probably do some testing...never?
