Early-Mid Winter Test Results
So after a 3 week 'build' (lots of endurance/tempo with very little SST and above), I decided to do a test to see how I was fairing in the FTP department... Monday I hit 345 for 12', but ran out of daylight to do the full test. So this afternoon I left early and put down everything I had.
348 watts for 19:20. 162lb even. I honestly thought I got all 20', but I didn't have the interval mode on, and I really didn't feel like overshooting it (pain was unreal). Enjoy.

It's too bad you and WR won't be able to race the 3's next season. FEMA called and they need some giant sandbags to shore up a levee
Very nice.
Very nice.

I'm not going to upgrade till after the Joe Martin. The 1-2 race is suicide. Plus I need points right now

Johnny, I race in your home state. =)
TXVintage, I do some really easy intervals one day a week... 20x1' at FTP w/ 30" rest between each. The rest is endurance-tempo, and one group ride.
Aham, my weekly training load is around 12 hours tops. ~9 on the bike and ~3 on the elliptical. I got in 34 hours in the last 3 weeks. After today I'll be at 7 hours, then after a century on Sunday I'll be at 11.5-12. TSS wise that's about 650 or so, including an estimated 70 TSS from each hour on the elliptical.

I think it'd be tough to impersonate a cat 5.

Very nice work. I imagine I'd test about the same power right now, but I've got 13 lbs on you!
I'm keeping an eye on you mister...

Well done!
This reminds me that I need to test sometime soon. Maybe when I get down to sea level so I can feel better about myself. I really like the free 10-15w. Except then I'll have to do it again when I get up here. Decisions, decisions.

White Rock Lake. Running the first stop sign is no problem because it's straight through, the 2nd stop sign (downhill with a 90 degree corner) is pretty tough to do though. You have to brake very hard downhill while maintaining speed and power, all the while looking over your shoulders for cops, hang a left, keep pedaling over the speed bump, and refocus. I'll be the first to admit it's not the best place to do it, but I don't have many options...
