Hello Hocam,

I know you are desperate for me to put full fenders on this bike but you are not reading my responses at all or are not reading them carefully. Your persistence is somewhat admirable and somewhat amusing.

cool idea, but i think most carbon forks are solid underneath, the steerer tube isn't open to put a star nut in,

If it is solid then you can drill it and put a small screw in it to hold the fender up. They have leather grommets that you can use between the fender and the bottom of the fork to snug it up.

The whole "zip tie" thing is a crap idea imho. My bolt on SKS/ESGE Cromoplast fenders wiggle around enough. They would be flapping in the breeze if they were held on by zip ties.

It could be massive and powerful guads twisting the frame and wheels that is causing the fenders to move around too.

Zip-ties are just suggestion for the Mr. Crud RoadRacers. Standard installation is with a pretty loose zip tie. They don't flap around because the rim keeps them in place. They're quite a bit different than any fender I've seen in the past (using the wheel for structure).

I saw the installation video on those. It showed the little brush thingies. Most people seems to like the way they work. I still think my high wattage guads still twists the frame enough that they would get stuck in the wheels. just say'n.

Yeah, no way they'd work for you. Fenders are fine for me -- it's those BB shells. Are those zip-tied in on Treks?
