The Hard Road

Has anybody seen this movie? What'd you think?

I just rented it from Netflix, but haven't watched it yet.

PS. I did a search of the archives and didn't find a thread. Apologies if this has already been covered.

I think you will like it, it drags on at some points, but if you haven't really watched domestic pro racing, its kind of cool.

The bit about Twilight in Athens GA doesn't do the real even justice. I was there last year, there were over 10,000 drunk people going nuts over a bicycle race in the South. Very surreal......

it's interesting. some of the film making is a bit rough - the editing is weird in some places, the sound is a little screwed up sometimes, but besides those technical details it's pretty good. some of the interviews are good and others are, well, not so hot.

I enjoyed the DVD and watch it every now and then when I am forced to ride inside due to weather. There is a bit too much voice over, but it's pretty cool to see inside a pro team. I also enjoyed listening to them talk about struggling in the peloton during some races...it's nice to see the pros are human, as well :-)

Typical Blockbuster - they have the film listed on their website, but I can't rent it from any store near me because they don't stock it. Same with A Sunday in Hell. Gawd, I hate Blockbuster :(

After watching it, I agree with the comments here.
