WR would post a power-profile of his crash.

Glad you're in one piece.

Good to see you up and about, and I agree, good thing it wasn't a moose.

Whoa serious header. Glad the wrist injury hasn't lessened your contributions to BF.

I went back to the BF alter and lit a candle.

That's why you where a helmet. This is what happens when you don't.

My friend after head injury from bicycle fall.

8 Staples in the head was the result.

No offense, but get rid of that picture. This thread isn't to show pictures of your friends idiocy and resulting head injuries. Instead, it's about wishing WR a speedy recovery. So take your plea for attention elsewhere.

We're bike racers, we don't need you to tell us what happens when people don't wear a helmet. We know what happens when you crash hard wearing one. Some of us have personal experience with it.

Sorry to hear about your accident. Maybe now you will cut me some slack when I talk about riding in the drops, witnessing a horrible accident can really change how you race and I am sure you may have some good insight for us on what the cause was and how it might have been avoided. We all can learn from first hand reports.
You'll be back racing strong soon, just give it time to work itself out.

My bad. That is more of an S&A thread photo. Sorry for the "attention seeking" as Mr. Personality said before. Though, it was not my original intent.

Anyways, glad to see you were not more seriously injured WR. That helmet is in as bad shape as any I have seen. Hope to hear some more of your ride reports and positive posts soon!
