Coffee/Caffeine status.

If i have a 'vice' its coffee.

Its amazing how much better a Cafetiere makes average coffee. Just sayin.

And since purchasing said instrument my daily average has gone up at least one cup.

I measure my caffeine intake in pots, not cups.

@caloso- wish i could too...but unfortunately it takes it effect. Quality over quantity for me. I cant have more than 3 cups a day, 2 of which are in the a.m.

I have a hard enough time sleeping as it is.

1-2 cups in the AM and maybe a diet coke daily. That stuff gives me the shakes something serious.
I like good coffee (not talking starbucks) but I'm by no means addicted to it.

Yeah, I'm not at all addicted to coffee either. I can stop any time I want to, I just don't want to

+1

also the effect is wearing off. I want it to come back!

I'm trying to cut it to no more than 300mg of caffeine on non training days (typically half in the AM, half around noon, so I can still sleep)

And 300mg before training on training days. I had my 2 cups at 8 this morning and I'm still flying high. Strangely if I had ingested more, I'd probably be crashing by now. Weird.

I understand.

I want a PowerTap. I need to keep the wife happy.

The nespresso was an X-mas gift to her 2 years ago.

Seattle's Best, French Roast drank black. I dial it up to 7 on the little meter thing. Not sure if that's 7 standard "cups" (6oz?) or not.
