I'm going to cry.

Indoor training all week, only to get blue balls for the weekend.

Friday

57°F | 42°F

Saturday

48°F | 42°F

Sunday

Any new movie recommendations? Since I'll be sitting on the trainer for 2 hours on Saturday morning, it's a good time to catch a flick.

Who's with me?

Normally I do, but I'm hearing it's going to pour.

I had to spend the majority of Jan riding my rollers....I found action movies to be the best relief, they don't really require you to pay attention but are fun enough to keep you distracted. I re-watched all the Borne movies..last two Batman flix...Indiana Jones 1 and 3 were all good fun.

Shrug. HTFU. We'll be racing in it all weekend.

substructure 03-11-10 12:59 PM

Same here. Rain tomorrow and Saturday. Sunday looks good though.

Ill always race in the rain but if I can avoid riding/training in the rain I will.

Quel 03-11-10 01:06 PM

I just got a new rain jacket, so I'm going to get a nice chance to test it out.

ZeCanon 03-11-10 01:06 PM

30mph sustained winds here today. 45mph gusts. I'll take the rain before wind, not a fan of getting blown into cars.

I seem to have a knack for scheduling rest weeks:thumb:

Racing Saturday, but I'll be dry and warm and indoors on Sunday. Celebrating our five-year anniversary (and yes I scheduled our celebration around my training schedule because I'm a horrible girlfriend).

gsteinb 03-11-10 02:21 PM

Hell, I'm planning a wedding around a racing/training calendar.

I wouldn't have a problem with that.

Not sure if I'll race or just ride in the rain this weekend.

+1

Wake up at 5:30am, get in 4 or 5 hours of training, get home and go over wedding plans.

I'm in the Puget Sound area. Basically, ride in the rain or don't ride at all.

I'm a little skittish to race there in cold pouring rain this early in the season... Sounds like you are going?
