I'm hosting a TT on the 10th, otherwise I'd be interested..

But I will be in Miami this weekend.

A crit along Las Olas? That sounds sweet! I visit the area frequently. If I was there I'd totally rent a bike and be all over that.

Nobody doing Webster - Roubaix on Saturday? I've cleared my appointment book for tomorrow and heading down to check the course conditions. Early registration closes tomorrow night.

Ok, but I think cat 4 goes at 11:45, and cat 5 goes @ 3:15p...

Then the time trial starts 4:10 pm for all categories...

Me thinks they will score you in your category, so everyone will be equally as tired !!!

It is a very short TT and you will be warmed up from your race. A short break versus a long break is a huge bonus.

I rode the course a couple of times this morning. It will be FAST. The unpaved part is in really good shape right now. The bad news for you is that Cat 5 is at the end of the day and the unpaved part might get a little chewed up after a whole day of racing and with drying conditions it could get pretty dusty.

Yeah, I was just talking with someone about that this morning after a group ride. Should go out there with a water truck and just spray it down Friday night...

You can get the course route from floridacycling.com. And you can look at the course via Google Maps streetview. About 2.5 miles of the 8.5 mile loop is unpaved.

The start is neutral too, so don't sweat starting on the dirt road. Just be near the front at the first turn off onto the pavement otherwise there's a good chance you'll get dropped if you're still on the dirt once the front of the field hits the pavement and punches it.

I wish I could make it down to Lauderdale for Sunrise... already have plans made for the weekend.
