Cote de Tolosa
I'm putting on an unusual race here in San Luis Obispo Calif. It is modeled on the NorCal Grasshopper series. It will be held Sunday May 23rd. The course is a 50 mile loop with pavement, dirt roads and a mile or so of steep sketchy downhill single track. This unsanctioned race is designed for the very fit or competitive athelete only. There's lots of climbing. The $20 fee includes a gourmet lunch and wine thanks to our sponsor Tolosa Winery. All proceeds benefit the SLO bike coalition. For details and registration go to events calendar at tolosawinery.com

This is a mass start event limited to 60 entrants. Finishing order and times will be recorded. There will be trophies and prizes. If it's a race it's of the unsanctioned variety. If it's a ride it's of the highly competitive sort.
