same boat as bayareawheeler and jrennie, i've ridden in the same fields with a lot of them.
have been "Bisselled" a few times this year (riding in a 200 meter long, single file train praying they will stop...please make it stop...)
will be among the 164 chosen few racing the sacramento crit before the real racers from ToCA put on a show.

I think the promoters have taken a little creative freedom with calling the Sac Gp a "pro" race. There are more masters than elite and some cat 3's mixed in there.

I might call in sick that day and see you there. Not sure if the field size in the 4/5 is grown yet. last I looked it was 20. I figure WTH, go for it.

If anyone wants their book signed, flag me down in the Mobile P.A. (A Nissan with a huge sound system on it, out in front of the caravan) sponsored by Radio Shack. Or bring it to the start at the L.A. time trial. Or the start of the final stage.

Chocolate chip!
I'm really glad I put that in the book.
You'd be amazed at how many times I've had people actually bring them up to the stage.

Trying to get there in time. I'm playing golf at Pebble Beach and then heading to Sac. Hope to get there by 7.

I know one that is hoping to do fairly well. I think he can might be successful - depending on how you define it. I think he'll surprise a few people. He may have an axe to grind. I don't like to name drop - it's like treading on their personal space, but most of you who know me should know who I am talking about.
....he's in really good form.

You know, I was wondering about that... He seems to be going well, and I didn't get the impression that his changing-of-shirts had been a happy one.
Given the target he set up for himself at this coming nats, I'm interested to see how his eastern form translates to noth-american form. As always, wishing cool dudes the best.

The funny thing about his nats goal is his current involvement with that target....could make family reunions interesting....
