i like it when 1 interloper with a bad attitude throws off the rhythm of a long thread and causes it to be closed or whatever happened.

mods give me an effin' break. things would work themselves out here (there) without extraneous involvement. dummies tend to fade away. go patrol somewhere necessary.

I really tried to appeal to the interloper to just accept things as they were...

Youre right, and I knew it. But I felt compelled because the writing was on the wall...oh well.

relax. it'll be fine. our ability to roll calmly with what happens will make things fine.

it has power. but no memory. it also seems to be broken so I'm basically just turning the pedals. I've got nothing.

Speaking of the Giro, I wanted to take tomorrow off and go see the ToC on my favorite roads, but the boss said no. I have to work on him some today but two of the other guys are fighting, almost to fisiticuffs yesterday, so he has his hands full with that stupidity.

That Cadel is one angry Aussie:

After Wednesday’s upset, Thursday’s stage again ended with some drama, as a group of 12 riders — including former race leader Alexander Vinokourov, but excluding Cadel Evans (BMC) and race leader Richie Porte (Saxo Bank), escaped on the final climb and built a gap of about 20 seconds. Evans led the chase, at one point appearing to trade blows with a Liquigas rider who was disrupting the effort.

I'd be pissed too if I had that much talent and I made so many dumb moves on and off the bike. He can't even pick the right friggin team to give him support in these big races. I mean go figure.

Does anyone know if Event Services is at the ToC this year? Last year he drove the Volvo with a speaker on top and came through ahead of the race with information and goodies.
He said he doesn't have the Volvo anymore, anybody know what he's driving, if he is here?
