Lost a racer last week

David collapsed after the 1/2 race in Portland, OR on Tuesday night from a heart condition and could not be revived.
He finished near the front of the pack (17th out of nearly 80) right behind his brother. We will have a silent memorial lap in his honor on Tuesday night.

Hello,

Very sorry to hear this. That kind of thing can be devastating for the local racing community.

That sucks, at least he went out doing what he loved. My prayers go out to his family and friends.

That's something I hope the family holds close is that he was doing something he loves, and his brother was racing with him (finished one spot ahead of him)

That's awful. From what I read he was a well liked and respected member of the race community. Prayers for his family and friends.
