Nervous twitch

I open the QR on my rear brake when I'm going balls-out in a race.

What's yours?

Tightening my shoe straps.

Usually do it 3-4 times while waiting at the line.

praying. I take about 1-2 minutes before a race to pray for a safe race. so you'll usually see me head down at the line praying for the safety of your heathen souls

I grip the handlebars as if my life depended on it. I've come home from rides and had the imprint of my bar tape on my hands

I push my sunglasses up. I also do this in the rest of my life when I am wearing contacts and have no glasses on.

i have sram, and the shifters have a little bit of play. i tend to tap on these while sitting around in the group waiting for something to happen.

like others have said, i also tilt my head slightly when hammering, and ratchet tighten my shoe in the leadup to the sprint.

Push glasses up or pull the shift levers (SRAM) in towards the bars and release them repeatedly.
