out walking the earth
I have a hard time buying Lance as a forgive and forget guy. Short of offing Betsy I can't imagine what Frankie could have done to get Lance to forgive him, but I don't know what I'm talking about. I just know Betsy from some other places and it's hard to believe that Lance wouldn't want to destroy anyone who even knows her.

Wow. A year later and these tools still show Hincappie whinning. American cycling coverage is an abyss.

There was just a lull in the action and David Harmon is reading emails from viewers...
"18 year old new cyclist who just got into road cycling is asking if it would really improve his speed if he bought shoes and clipless pedals..."
The answer was quite civil. I was expecting him to say "this question has been asked far too many times. Please tune your set to channel 41."

I'm pretty sure Renshaw wasn't exactly "clean and fair" there

Why does Phil Liggett enjoy calling the results before the race is over so much? Petacchi was stuck on Cav's wheel still, so calling it a "formality" is a bit much. Seems like half the time he calls a result he has to retract it and get it right. It's a 4 hour race, you can wait 5 more seconds to make sure the results are right.

Dean wasn't even moving in on Renshaw's line--i really don't know what the head butting was about. And then changing his line to block Tyler? kinda ****ed up.

Dean did lean into him a bit, so I have no problem with the head butting. Blocking Tyler, though, was a bit much.

It may have been accidental, not sure he knew who was on his wheel, I think he may have just blown and unfortunately for Tyler he had to slow because of it. He still came close to winning though, I would love to see a clean man v man sprint with Cav and Farrar

Renshaw, if not crossed the line, came pretty damn close..the block on Tyler cost him second with out a doubt.
