Twin Cities Racing Scene?

Any Minneapolis/St. Paul area racers around the board? What's the scene like there? Are the races dominated by a couple big teams, or is there a bit more parity? I grew up in Central WI, so I know the winter sucks...

I've raced in Austin and now D.C., but the wife and I are starting to look around for our next move, with a kid now in the picture. I'd love to head back to Austin, and it's a possibility, but that would be only for the lifestyle, as we have friends there but no family. Minneapolis would be a smarter choice, as that's much closer to home for both of us, but I'd hate to move there and not enjoy the time I have for recreation. I've found the MCF website with the info and calendars, but am wondering if there are other resources I should be looking for.

i'm moving there at the end of the summer.

i heard that in the spring, there are four major RRs in which crosswinds are the defining feature.

also there's a track.

that's all i know.

Check out MCF.net, it is the local racing webiste/forum. The forum isn't very active but there is a schedule of all the races throughout the summer. There are a number of road races throughout the summer along with different crit series that usually last around 6 weeks. There are a number of teams in the area, however just like anywhere some are more active than others.
