2010 racing update

How many races have you done this year? How many more races are on your schedule?

So far, after a late start, I've done 19 races...all time trials as I skipped the spring road race season for the first time. There are 32 races left on the schedule with the possibility of more depending on if I ride cross or not.

I have 13 races scheduled for August.

I will do exactly one criterium this year. Actually, it's more of a circuit race (PUR Tour).

I have done 20 races so far this year. 6 road races, 8 circuit races, 5 crits, 1 time trial.

I am registered for a stage race (crit, time trial, road race), 2 crits, and 1 road race. Not sure how much more I'll do beyond that.

11 races at Seward Park on Thursdays (training races).
Cat 5: 3 races (two RRs, plus a TT)
Cat 4: 18 races (crit, circuit, RR) + 3 TTs
Cat 3: 3 races (two crits, circuit)

Grand total of 38 races this year.

5-6 or so more, plus the Thursday training races too. I'll be sad when the season is over, but also looking forward to base-building and long/cold/wet rides.

25 or so. Hm, when I started racing this year I thought to myself "I'll just do a couple of local races now and then, see what it's like, take it easy." That is not quite how it played out.

Heading out for a two week vacation today, and not sure how long it will take to get my fitness back when I return, but August should be very busy.

about 50 races so far I think. Slowing down right now to take a stab at actually training for cross and the fall collegiate mtb season (my least collegiate season, unless I decide to go to grad school later on). Should hit around 80 races by the end of cross season, if all goes to plan.

8 crits, 6 circuit races, 3 road races, 3 track omniums. It was a light spring for me - I had a hard time getting to races in April and May - so I've been picking it up in the past month. I'll probably do 2-3 more RRs, 4-6 more circuits and crits, a stage race, and 2-3 track omniums before moving out of town, and winding down to cyclocross. Racing is fun.

18 sanctioned races (counting stages of SRs/omniums seperately)

plus probably a dozen or so local things.

have 7 or 8 left on my to-do list.

Less than last year. Less out of town racing, but I'll race just about anything I can do in a one-day trip. Maybe ~15 weekend races, plus a bunch of weeknighters Almost all crits, just one road race.

No tt's for me because they expose how weak I really am.

something like 25 races, 13 or 14 top-10's, and a bronze medal in a state championship.

But right now the heat is killing me for some reason, and I'm not even thinking about racing again until September. That works out well though as there's no racing in the F-L-A until the last weekend of August. Then while you guys are thinking about CX we'll be back on full tilt boogie until the last weekend of October.
