iBike iAero as Head Unit for DFPM?

Anyone here have any experience and feedback on using the iBike iAero as a head unit for a DFPM?

After much feedback from you guys, I think I am keeping my Powertap Pro+ (whenever the replacement wheel gets built). I currently use the Garmin Edge 500 as my head unit, but am not satisfied with it. Thinking about going to the iBike for a couple of reasons (1) with my PT it can provide aerodynamic testing/measurements and (2) on race day I could use a lighter non-PT wheelset and substitute the iBike for the power measurement (at a much lower rate of accuracy though it would be calibrated against the PT hub and not all the test rides that the iBike calls for).

My chief concern right now is that the iBike does not offer an auto zero function like the Edge 500 or PT head unit does...so I would have to manually zero the PT during a ride to account for temperature changes/drift. Given the menus I'd have to scroll through, this doesn't sound ideal when trying to keep a paceline at 28 MPH. Is the auto zeroing during a ride / drift error that big a concern?

Thanks for the feedback and for all previous help.

You should probably go to the iBike forum. The only person I know that is using the iAero as a head unit is Andy Coggan, and you could try contacting him.
