9th HPRA Florida Challenge
Come one, come all to the 9th iteration of the balmy and guaranteed, beautiful-weathered, HPRA Florida Challenge! (major cash has exchanged hands to vouchsafe "beautiful-weathering")
Where? Well, Cooper City, Florida of course!
When? On the conveniently situated weekend of the 26th and 27th of February. Why convenient? Well, because the weekend prior is Bike Sebring, and the weekend after is the Catrike Rally, that's why! So, if you're planning to head south for a little holidaying and a little challenging, maybe you can slide the dates around so you can hit 2 events in two consecutive weekends.
The Florida Challenge involves 2 days of racing at the ever lovely Piccolo Park crit course on Saturdy, and the velodrome on Sunday. But WAIT! That's not all!
Josh, from Atlantic Bicycle is hosting an early morning ride, leaving from Piccolo Park, on the Saturday. For those who might like a casual ride first or instead, they have an opportunity to do the ride, and then watch a little racing, or even do some racing afterwards. And, yes, road bikes, or just about any kind of bike, can come and race too.
Full details, timings and locations can be found here:
