can anyone elaborate on the Roubaix section? is it less roubaix this year?
is it comparable to easy street on the simi ride in length and roughness?

I'm not sure about easy st on the simi ride but the rough section at madera is like a mortar torn street in the middle of a war zone. Rough is an understatement.

It's better since Robert started putting aluminum ladders on the sweep truck. Some of the holes were tough to freeclimb with your bike over your shoulder.

i don't remember it being that bad (not that it was good) when i did it about 8 or so years ago. i won the road race, the crit and the overall in the 35+ 4/5s, so that may have clouded my memory

Here is pic from last year's Madera Road Race. The rough road section is approximately 3/4 of a mile behind us. Most pics are taken in the rollers and feed zone.

Look at the NCNCA blog for links to photographers' web sites. Keep checking though as it sometimes takes the photographers a few days to get their sets uploaded.
