Which K-edge chain catcher (pressed for time, race approaching)

I want to mount a K-edge chain catcher on my bike. I've got a clamp-on Rival front derailleur. I see two options:

This clamp-on K-edge:

or this clamp-on Cross-specific K-edge:

Aside from weight difference and difference in shape of the actual chain catcher arm, is it safe to use either of these on my 2002 Allez running Rival 50/34 crank? (the cross-specific one might be easier to get quickly). Anyone have experience with either?

Thanks

Sorry, I haven't used the K-edge ones, I use the Rotor one on my TT bike. Works fine.

They all do their job, the dog fang works fine too if you drop the chain since it lets you shift back up.
