Berger Hardware Tuesday Night Crit (Raleigh, NC) - Cat 3/4. Not the most pristine racing on my part and definitely some lessons learned, but overall a a good time. Looking forward to going back in two weeks.

Nice riding MH, and thanks for posting that. I live nearby and tho I'm not racing, planned to go and watch. But the weather and Paris-Roubaix on EuroSport persuaded me to stay home.

The cameraman is not on our team, but if you watch closely, you'll see the teamwork.

Nice work, you two. You make it look easy (I'm an Idiot, but not that dumb - I know it's not). What I am constantly struck by, it really stands out to me, is that you fast guys DO get to "take breaks" - stop pedaling or coast from time to time. Me, never - I'm always chasing and always frying! There's the difference in experience and strength.

Sara, you have to train yourself to do that. It takes practice to learn to find the pocket of the draft and measure power to stay in it. CDR is a master at it. Watch his videos. Practice crits and team/group rides are good places to practice this.

Hey....I started this thread! Glad to see it is alive and doing well.

Here is a good short video. Two camera and two different riders. Great up close carnage as well. Turn it up to get the full effect.

Hello !

In Europe there are bicycle marathon series and Ötz valley bicyclemarathon (228 km + 5300 m) is (one of ) the most prestigious bicyclemarathon among them. It is the peak of the season for several cyclists. The start is in Austria (Sölden) but the route visits Italy too. The cyclists have to climb 4 climbs: Kühtai (2020 m) - 17,5 km with 7,5% (Max 18%), Brennerpass (1374 m), Passo Monte Giovo (2094 m) (15 km + 1124 m - avg steepness: 7,5%) and the last is the hardest: Passo Rombo (2509 m) (29 km + 1796 m; with 6,2% but few kms with 10-12%.).
Its slogan is "I have a dream" - and it was my dream for years: cycle it riding my touringbike and record it for video.
The video (from start to the finish) shows its feeling very well

Have a good time and enjoy it !

Best regards,
Gábor Györgyi
