I use one of these on my single chainring setup on my CX bike. You may not need it as you'll always have a straight chain line, but it's cheap insurance if you're unsure.

botto - you know a guy. Figure out which way you want to go then let me know. There are so many options that it simply boggles the mind.

Time goes slower for observers closer to greater mass. The more gravity you feel, the slower time goes. Our satellites have to adjust for this in their designs, as they are not as close to the Earth as ground control.

Also, if you draft off a fat guy in a race, the race will take longer.

The same goes for your mom.

Is there any irony that I had to contact a certain lab that was made fairly famous in a 20 year old book about a hacker, regarding a potential security breach of their systems? Maybe I can get my copy of the book autographed..

Here's my typical Friday pre-lunch rant - I want to quit and only sell wheels full time. Family, food, obligations, etc....blah...poop. Guess I'll just go to lunch and get fatter. YAY!

...FWIW I am still on my meds so I'm just naturally this way.

yes sir. a wheel build may be something to look into in the future, but right now i'm keeping it simple, or as simple as one can.

the bike has been collecting dust for years. time to change that.

Are you doing this for a training benefit, or to have a city / winter bike?

There is also time dilation due to relative velocity.

Wheel aside....I can still get the parts for you if need be. Only for a few people.

I'm sure it's changed a bit since my wife was in medical school, with tattoos being more prevelant now. However, when she was in medical school it was standard training that in evaluating a patient in the ER if they had a tattoo (and not a military veteran) to assume they were a sociopath until proven otherwise.

I'm sure there are a lot of physicians still practicing that got that same training. So I wouldn't be surprised to see Doctors that you'd be training under having some lingering bias against tattoos.

I figured it was a Capreo. Those take a special hub. I have a teammate who loves to push a huge gear in TT's and has been looking for a 10 tooth for years. We have a local TT that is kinda downhill, and can have a tailwind that pushes the average speed of the winner to over 34 mph.

No, time warner cable. I lost power this morning, but that was before the tour started, so it shouldn't have mattered. I might e-mail them, it's getting annoying.

b - if the bike is stateside let me know. I have a gazillion cogs, about 5 extra jumpstops, maybe even a few 110 BCD rings. If you need a wheel done that could be handled too. I even have a cheapo freewheel hub in the center of a "don't wanna use" wheel, and if you want to get fancy I think I have some nicer freewheel hubs.

I've only gotten tuned into the series since last fall, but I'm about half-way through the books. Most of them have been pretty fun reads.. Rumor has it that they're doing film adaptations of some of the books, but they're putting Leonardo in as the lead.

They are/were an entertaining series. The first ones capture a South Florida that no longer really exists. As McGee ages his commentary on the, mostly negative, changes struck a chord with me and many others. That's what I liked best about them.

I don't see DiCaprio as McGee be it a rumor or even a rumour.
