Masters Natz-date?place?

Due to bad knee, I'm switching from duathlons to increased cycling. I'm considering masters nats, for the TT. Went a few yrs ago and want redemption. I'm a 58 yr old female with a Cervelo P2K that just sat out a whole season bec I had meniscal tears and severe chondromalacia. Cycling works OK with the knee. I've done most of my training for duathlons (run/bike/run) on the bike as it is and have averaged as high as 19.5 mph on the bike leg of a duathlon (distance anywhere from 15-25 miles, mostly about 20 mi) with a run following the bike.

I think I have to have a USCF license for Masters Natz. Can I be unattached? Right now I'm only on a multisport team, not a USCF team. I can't ride with a cycling team--I could be the mother of most of the people on the team! Can't keep up.

Anybody who could tell me anthing about Masters Nats? I'm wondering if it's a reasonable goal for next yr.
