Sinergy Rev-X wheels

Hi all
I want to run a survey on the Sinergy Rev-X wheels. I would like to know from all of you who has had a catastrophic failure of their wheel. And I would like it from the person that it happened to. Not I know a guy that knows a guy that had one fail.
It needs to be you or someone that you know directly, and that you have seen the bad wheel.
I have a set and I just what to know what the real world failure rate is. You always heir about them failing but I can never really find first hand data.
thanx

Crossdude,
I don't meet any of your criteria to answer however Spinergy has not produced
the Rev-X wheels since 1999. I believe they recalled the early ones and that speaks
volumes about the reliablity of the wheel.
There was a site that had statistics on failure rates
but I can't find it now (page not found). I'd check places like roadbikereview etc.

I'm probably going to pick up a set of them when I have the money and find a decent used set of them. I want to convert the rear to fixed gear so that I have a nice light blinging aero set of rims for when I do a TT. You can use the Surly Fixxer (with some modifications) to do this.

I can't help either. I had a set for 10,000 miles or so. Not one problem. I loved them.
