ID a CA team for me, please.

I do most of my riding in the south Santa Cruz county-north Monterey county area of California. Recently, I've seen quite a few riders wearing the same team kit. It's blue and white with some red. The main sponsor seems to be Giant and the other sponsor I noticed is Weyerhauser. Does anyone know which team this is? Don't tell me to ask one of these guys myself: these guys just whiz by me and there's no chance of my catching up. If they weren't moving so fast, I could probably read more off the uniform.

Yeah, I see that A LOT in my area. A bunch of guys wearing some mysterious red kit, they've got everything: hats, socks, etc. The other team in town is mine (CSU), we have an equal amount of kit and are usually in a group. These guys ride solo a lot, and ride one of our 30mi loops in reverse, either that or when they ride it forward they can't catch us.... I may never find out, i know they don't race against us, cause we only race other colleges - maybe I'll finally meet some of them at the infamous Oval Crit during the USCF races.

I bet it's California Giant Cycling Team. Do I get anything for having the first correct answer?

Is this the California Giant company that sponsors the cycling team? This is where one is redirected when you click on the California Giant Cycling link here:

I'd love to have one of their jerseys if they have strawberries on them.

Hey, SteveE, this is not a race, no prime for you. But if we ride together again, the pie at Gizdich Ranch is on me.

Thanks

Wow, color my face strawberry red and blow a raspberry at me. There is no ride that I take that does not take me by at least one strawberry and raspberry field. As it turns out, I know the founder and coach of the team, Dino. I recall now that a buddy of mine said that Dino had berry sponsorship. Dino is a real cool guy. He was the first local I encountered when I got back on the bike after my injury. He told me I was looking good and had great things to say about my new bike. I needed that encouragement. I bet it is great team to ride with.
