I remember hearing about that collapse! What a mess. I need to get out to Alsatian some year.

A long time ago a finishline banner fell on a strong racer in Hartford. It was terrible (I wasn't there but heard it from him, his dad, etc). This must be part of the reason for not wanting one, although I didn't remember until the mention of the collapsing arch.

In Bethel there's a noise ordinance. I have to get a permit for a PA system.

Currently I'm using a (lent to me by volunteers) small trailer for the finishline camera, table, chair, etc. Tent for officials (theirs in the video but I have two more just in case). Tripod for camera itself. Visible in this clip here (not mine; covers the Cat 4 race).

Thanks for posting! Nice finishline. And that swing music goes quite well with the heard of Cat 4s going around and around
