I had an all white kit two seasons ago. Loved the jersey; the bibs, not so much.

Ha yeah that guy is funny looking! The glasses really top off the cheese-factor of the photo I think.

When you're in Seattle (still coming?) it'll be easy to spot you, for sure!

Our team's kit was created with much controversy, but I suppose that happens on all teams. I like last year's better, and this year's kit is too similar to other local teams' kits but whatever, it's done.

How much do your team jerseys change anyway? I think my team has had pretty much the same design for a couple of years, makes sense in terms of being recognizable.

Our team has been around for over 10 years and has had 5-6 distinct designs, I believe.

We seem to keep the same design for two years, then tweak it; sometimes more, sometimes less. At one point our jersey was yellow/red..

Cool story i heard about our kit. Back in 2009 they added a few quotes from 'de renner' by Tim Krabbe, as a gesture we had a teamkit sent out to him. So the author of a very well known cycling book might be riding around in our team kit as we speak.

mattm: yup, still planning it; not sure when yet, depends on companies/managers I'll be visiting/interviewing (for research).

Blue is my favorite color. Your kit looks good. (There were some differences of opinion too on our kit.)

What was controversial? I think it looks good...the logo on the back is the differentiator, you think it looks too close to HB?

In short, yeah.

But I can live with it, especially since HB has since changed their kit design..

What's Audi's kits lookin' like this year btw?

Similar to last year. Race kits are more white through in the jersey...black and red are more secondary colors, think HTC from late last year...Custom run of S-Works/Prevail helmets from Specialized for us too. Training kits are mostly black with red, and the text in white.

Training kit?? I guess if it's cheap, sure. I'd rather buy more wheels.

Yeah, pretty standard for the team...here is the 2011 training kit. 2012 will have red through the body like our 2011 race jerseys.

We've found Rabobank very receptive to sponsoring local cycling events & clubs. If there is a branch close to you it would be a good idea to approach them.

Rabobank is an awesome sponsor and very open to cycling (who would've guessed right?). You should try talking to them, it might just pay off.

They sponsor many events around here. Very receptive and first class all the way. I was kind of surprised. They became the prime sponsor at the last minute. No kits for us until mid Feb. They have a branch here in Modesto so I guess it does not hurt having us ride all over here with a large Rabobank advertisement on our kits.
