Tomorrow, January 10 is the team announcement, introduction, etc (in Sandy Spring, MD, the HQ of Discovery)....the reason why the site is set up the way it is so far is that they are waiting for the 10th...all teams do this and in Europe, it rivals the F1 teams introductions...

The Acqua & Sapone intros from when Cipo was in his prime might have put a few of the F1 intros to shame if what I've read is accurate at all.

I found it through www.jurgenvandenbroeck.be and his message board. And only the overhaulin and chopper videos work. I guess the other videos will work next week.

with all the discussion of Flash and Team kit its interesting that
no one mentions that for the team's schedule for July the Tour de France
is conspicously missing. . . .

Well... there is also no Giro (not surprising), Vuelta or even Paris-Roubaix for Hincapie, or Amstel Gold which I guess Armstrong will do if he is serious about the classics. It feels like an early draft.

If you read the article I linked to you'd have noticed that Armstrong hasn't decided yet what tour he'll be doing. Hence the reason they're not on the calendar.

Yes. I'll bet you that it will be the 2005 edition. Everything else would defy logic (and D'Channel's 'investment').

As determined LA has always been on the TdF, as vague he is about his (semi) Classics priorities. Doesn't sound as if LA will go for the World Cup this year. That would be something to aim

Where is the TT bike? Is it just the one on the Trek site (I doubt it) or is it on the Disco site somewhere (couldn't find it)?

I'll bet Hincapie finally makes the podium at Paris-Roubaix this year... Would second place be shiny enough for you?

Also: I dig the new Disco team kit. Took a while to appreciate it, but now all I can see is sharks. Deadly, man-eating sharks in the peloton. Cool.

Just when you thought it was safe to go back to the peloton...
