That's a nice promotion for him. He was no doubt Jittery Joe's best rider(climber). Expect to see him shine at the Tour de Georgia again....and maybe he will get on a division 1 team for next year(Discovery?).

If he ever does get to Europe I wouldn’t be surprised to see him go with phonak to add to their Colombian duo of Bortero and Pena.

Micah Rice (director sportif) told me that he knew keeping Grajales would be like trying to hold onto a sky-rocket. The whole team knew that they had struck gold when they found Grajales. His parents moved up from Columbia (?) to work at UGA and brought him along. By default, he ended up on the team.

You know, if you're riding up Brasstown Bald on a Sunday ride, and some random guy blasts past you like your fork's broke, you should really invite them to join your team.

BTW, Jittery Joe's is actually a really small coffee shop located in the 5 Points section of Athens. If you're ever in Athens, you have to stop by and say hey.

And Navigator's is an insurance company that covers ocean-going vessels. Strange partnership, but the owner of the company loves bike racing.
