Who do you get your Team Kit From?

So to make a long story short: I am taking over the LBS team this year and I am basically starting everything from scratch. Who do you guys get your Kit from? I am looking into Champion Systems and Primal. Any other suggestions?

Also If anyone knows about sponsorship spots on the jersey: What is the typical range that people pay for a spot on the jersey? Range? Locations?

Sorry I am really taking over everything on my own here and I am just sort of digging for any tips, suggestions or information I can. Thanks 33.

We get ours from Voler. I like the jerseys a lot, both fit and material. The material on the shorts until last year would stretch with use. That caused the padding to move around under me and chafe during very long rides. I think I'm the only person with this problem.

Ignoring your 'sign of the times' grammar, I'll add Voler, Hincapie and Castelli to your list. You may get better discounts choosing a brand that the LBS carries.

My cx team went Hincape stuff. I've been very happy with the quality. The shop team I ride with has had Champ Systems, but I haven't been terribly thrilled with it. Seems cheap, and doesn't wear as well.

Our team used Capo this past season. I really liked the fit and feel. A couple people had problems with the bib short legs riding up. This next season we're switching to Louis Garnouis (sp?).

My previous team had ChampSys and I cannot recommend it. Terrible chamois, weird sizing, zippers fell apart within a few months. That team then went to Verge, which was a little better, but the zippers all fell apart on those too.

My current team has Hincapie and I've been very pleased with the fit, the durability (zippers still going strong!), and cost (but I think we get a pretty good deal due to the size of our order).

I just cannot support Hincapie even though I loved the gear last year..he's a doper, and I just can't get behind that

We are actually going with Primal this year, and the new stuff is infinitely better than the gear we had 2 years ago.

I had Champ Sys my first season and I will concur that the sizing was weird. Medium bibs were tiny, medium jerseys were large. Vest was okay though. Still use it. In 2012 we went with Voler and I am pleased all around. The jersey fabrics don't seem worth the price, but the fit is good and they have held up well. I'd like to try Castelli.

We are sponsored by Hincapie (love their skinsuits).
I missed a team outing this weekend but heard we may be changing to Sugoi.

I'm hoping we get some performance benefit from the dust absorbed in a Colombian warehouse before it's sent to us.

We do Hincapie now. I like it well enough.

On past teams we had Champion Systems and Voler. Champion Systems was cheap and awful. Voler was pretty good. I agree that the Elite fabric shorts stretched out way too fast. The cheaper fabric actually held up better.

My wife's team uses Louis Garneau. It seems pretty nice and quite durable, though it is expensive. Her kits are about 50 percent more expensive than mine.

Giordana. Love it. We had Primal a couple years ago and the quality was horrible - separating zippers, incorrect sizing. We had Sugoi before that, it was pretty good.

2012 season - Verge. Would not recommend.
2013 season - Champ Sys. Yeah it's not the best but it's what the sponsors are willing to pay for.

+1 for Louis Garneau - had it a few years back, great stuff.

Also keep in mind that the clothing maker does not have to be the sublimation shop. E.g. Capo makes great clothing but also charges a premium for sublimation in house... so buy blanks and send them elsewhere to add logos.

Squadra. Not bad, not great.

The interface with ordering and shipping is very nice. They set up a team store website, and you just go there, order what you want, and shipped directly to you. Much easier logistics than getting the check and the order to the team then picking up the stuff.

Maybe I am oddly shaped butI like the fit of my old Champion System kit. Best quality I'd say were the kits I had from LG. Currently on Voler and the quality is ok, closer to Champ Sys than LG but the fit of the jerseys is a bit long for me.

LG is good stuff and they are reasonable $ for custom.

Thanks for the suggestions all around, I may actually be able to work something out with LG since the shop buys alot of clothing from them

we're using chap sys this year, and the new chamois is 1000000) times better than the old chamois. Also, the thing ive found is that all of champ's stuff is smaller than regular compony's. i could easily run smalls in almost all other brands, but im a medium in champ. One issue ive had is tthat the bib shorts lef grippers start out way to tight, then stretch beyond believe. Also the chamois after enough riding starts to move around.

overall no too bad
