Sold my mountain bike yesterday. Made $500 profit between what I sold it for and what I bought it for 2 months ago. Can't complain!

This is funding my quarq which I bought last week, and also ordered some chinese 23mm wide 50mm clinchers, some new pro4 endurance to replace my krylions (they are now gone for good I guess, couldn't find just 1 anywhere /cry), some light michelin tubes, and some swisstop yellow's. Phew. Lots of buying! Just need to sell the powertap wheels after the quarq comes in and I'll be good to go for 2013!

Update on my wife. She just called to say that the x-ray showed no break. Just a lot of soft tissue damage that has resulted in her hand swelling up huge.

I loved the Krylions but I think the Pro4 Endurances are even better. I think you'll be satisfied.

Cool good to hear, I couldn't find many reviews on them other than they were supposed to be the same or similar as the krylions. I wanted the pro4 race for the all black, but I really can't give up the durability of the krylions. So nice not having to ever worry about flats.

There's no competition in that industry, none at all. You should have no trouble.


Seriously thought, if you want to get into CROs, biotech and pharma, you really should broaden your search and not just look in Boston. For example, the Research Triangle Park area in North Carolina is home to two of the largest CROs in the world as well as a bunch of smaller ones.

Philly, Pittsburgh, the Twin Cities, Cleveland and San Francisco also are all large biotech centers.

Philly, pitt, or nyc would be options but I'm trying to stay in boston because I have connections there. The long distance thing with the gf is also not an option, so I'd prefer to head back to boston and get something together there even if it takes a month longer.

My last employer was in boston. I think that should help.

Edit: Surgeon's there as well. That's another big reason.

i rode it a couple of years ago when i was in mujch worse shape, and survived with the lead group. i should be able to not get dropped
