You'd think that after struggling to get things in and out of your jersey pockets the thought, "man this seem unreasonably difficult..." would occur. What is the etiquette here? I've contemplated rolling up next to him to say something...

I think he's just trolling everyone.
maybe the guy has some kind of digestive issue and values the convenience of not having to take off his jersey?

sometimes people do seemingly weird things but have their own (possibly also weird) justifications for them.

You should have seen this coming, and avoided it using your sixth sense.

Yeah, I am. I'd have thought anyone on the ride would be wearing 500$ in cycling chic kit, have bikes that are way too expensive, shave their legs, and try to look like they're suffering all the time. You know, in case there was someone with a b&w camera in the group taking photos.

granola bars are delicious at all hours of the day and night. I wasn't aware there were hours. Hell, I have cereal for dinner probably 50% of the time when my wife isn't home.

Just usually a granola bar at 2pm means munchie empty calories! Not eat a big enough lunch??

So far, I've seen this twice. Both times it was older (60+) hairy guys (like silver back gorilla hair).

Sometimes, it's very tempting to stop and tell people they're doing it wrong.

There is a guy who comes to our club rides and sometimes he has 2 fanny packs. Never asked him what's in them. Last time I saw him he was wearing a SARS mask, or something. Freaky. I saw a guy with a cardboard nose guard built onto his sunglasses and another wearing ear covers in the summer. Individual, furry ear covers. I guess the sun isn't kind to them.

Last night I watched a lecture on PBS by a dermatologist from Cal State San Francisco about cyclist's skin problems. He is a rider himself and a lot of what he spoke about was skin cancer but he also spoke about road rash and poison oak.

Are his bibs Rapha and his jersey Nashbar? Because that would figure from a poser standpoint.

The other possibilities have to do with why old men often walk around unzipped:

a) Senior moment
b) Urgency

My wife's having fun with accessing her Itunes account. I have never heard such stupid security questions. Not only do they not have answers, but would you remember them 2 years fron now ?

"What is the first beach you went to" .......... "The Beach" ?? My parents told us we were going to the beach

"What was the first thing you learned to cook" ......... Toast ??

"What was the first name of your favorite high school teacher" ........ I had a favorite ??

"What was the first name of your best friend in high school" ......... I had 1 specific best friend ???

"What was the first name of your first boss" ........ "boss" ?

I don't even know what my first job was.

Anything account related with itunes is a huge pia. Funny how all our financial accounts are easier to get into and change.

Who in there right mind would get involved with a contractor that has no credit...Apparently the president of my condo board...

Funny, when our sanitary went kaboom and my wife looked after it (she works for an architectural firm and does contract admin) everything went smoothly...

I swear we are surrounded by idiots...
