Team?

I imagine we've raced CX against each other this season. I'm GS Boulder. (Just in case: I'm sorry for that time when I crashed in the corner and held you up...)

Actually there are more women racers on the team than men...hence "G-String Boulder".

Yes, we're looking for male racers. I'm sure you're interested, RKwaki...here's how you'd look in our team kit:

Crank isn't that big
I struggle with kits already...
1. Race Cut
2. Club Cut
3. Gut Cut - we don't have these...

I was really struggling with which buttons to use as there were so many (23) and they all so much fun to press. The most fun number I saw was:
55378008 especially when looking at the display upside down...

The last time I joined a club it ended up badly; being proactive, I joined a committee for a new website. They had a $5,000 budget but I told them I could do it for free. I spent 3 weeks on the site, the president loved it, but the treasurer already slotted that money to his sister. He lobbied for it and the president broke the news to me. I was done with the club after that, the whole way it went down was unethical.
$5,000 for a web site?!?!?! We've had a professional do our site twice (granted she used to be a club member) and each time it was about $1,200. I thought she did a good job each time. We just had a member re-do it for free and in this case it looks it. I'm happy that he had the initiative and drive to do it but he's an engineer, not a graphics designer.

Try it out, lemme know what you think. (if you have an iOS device)

Basically it shows you the USAC calendar for your state, pre-reg counts, weather for race day/city. And you can set reminders for when to leave for the race, based on how long it takes to get there.

Nothing ground-breaking but it was a fun first iPhone app to write.
when will it be available for android?

Working on it, but I can't make any promises.

(long boring/nerdy story but there are tools to convert iphone apps to android, and I can't get them to work for my app)

Back in the early to mid 1990's I did a site for way less than that. The major expenses were a Mac machine and Mac software for the web server. I told them that they could use an Intel box and free server software for a lot less $'s, but it for an Apple based shop and their IT was Apple only. This was even before Apache on Linux, BTW. There was some cool stuff that even ran under DOS, but you needed to get a truly working version of Trumpet Winsock (not the free one) to make it work robustly. DOS had no socket functionality so you needed to build your own or buy it 3rd party. It was only around $20 if my memory is correct.
