you could weight the back but they will spin more freely once you ride them for a bit and the seals loosen up.

I've gotten used to stepping down on the pedal instead of hooking the front of the cleat. If you unclip with them facing up, they'll stay there.

I was on the phone with a consultant from Miami today. I had to listen to him sulk about losing Lebron and pretend I understood the struggles of the Miami sports fan.

Holy crap, I know racing is expensive, but damn. Joined a team and now I have to spend $205 on bibs and jersey. Seriously panicking from the price tag. In the past I spend about $100 on shorts and jersey.

Plus I really didn't want the hassle of bibs. Oh well.

Hassle?

Plus it's for the best. You've done like 900 rides in that other jersey and it was looking a little tattered.

That's about what I spend on gas on a race weekend, then there's the motel and food for two days. The alternative is not racing. #quityer*****in

Next season I'm getting 2 and a speedsuit. This sport can be expensive.

Tuck the shoulder straps into the waistband and viola, shorts.

Congrats on joining a team!

Get used to it. I end up having to buy all new kit every year, with sponsor changes. this year: 3x jersey, 3x bibs, 1x skinsuit, arm warmers, knee warmers, vest, jacket, socks.

and next year, it's gonna be the exact same (only 2x bibs/jersey, this year there was a long boring reason i ended up with 3, but it's not really needed).

Buy at least 2... you'll eventually crash and ruin one set.

Speaking of crashing, I did it AGAIN. My stupid fault. I knew I had to replace my cleats before track day but didn't. We were doing flying 200s and I stood to accelerate to the start line. Cleat came out and I went down. I am now chilling at the hospital with a broken collarbone worrying about the copay, and how I'm going to coach gymnastics like this.

I broke mine on a track bike too. Heal up. You'll need help with the coaching so line it up now. If these are kids it's time to ask the parents to step up. Remember you were going for the win.
