also 3 hours on the rollers after dinner hopefully. I just need to get back to riding for a long time. all the early season races are long, so i just need ot be comfortable for 3-4 hours on the bike. I dont think speed will be too big of an issue becuase i can just jra in the middle of the pack *knock on wood*

I say do it, even if you're fat and slow, it could highlight some places where you lack and need improvement. And who knows, you might get lucky and earn those upgrade points! You've got nothing to lose.

1 hour easy, team skills clinic, then hammerfest group ride. The good news is that I'm climbing really well right now, some fast guys showed up today and only one guy is going uphill faster than me. And he's on my team. Hopefully I'm going to get faster still. The bad news was that one of my teammates crashed hard near the end of the ride. Like, briefly unconscious, don't move him, call the EMTs hard. He messed his face/teeth up pretty bad, pretty clearly was concussed. Fortunately we've heard back from the ER that he doesn't seem to have any spinal injuries, thank goodness. I'm pretty torn up for him, he's a young guy in a new city, a good rider who really loves riding and racing. I hope he recovers quickly and fully.
Edit: Apparently NOT concussed, already stitched up and released. Phew. Still needs some new teeth.

I'm always reading about everyone training so I thought it's about time for me to join in.
Sat was a good 4.5hr, 85 mile and 4,700ft day with a TSS of 276. Good ride, maybe I went a little bit harder than I should but the last couple weeks have been lacking and it was nice out.
Today was a local group ride 4:15, 88 miles, 2,700ft and a TSS of 229. Was feeling yesterday for most of the ride but I really felt it as we put the hammer down for the last 20ish miles - that hurt. Hopefully I'm coming around.

Making a kilometer blurry
Good SST ride at lunch after a tempo commute this morning. On the lunch ride, I hit a steep 45sec hill really hard (12% average grade, spikes to 17%). That went well and the :45 effort netted me a 695W 1' power with the roll-up. I think I may be able to pull off 710W or so 1' right now. Things are looking better than they did last week.

10x5' hill repeats. Forgot my garmin so no power or heart rate data, but the legs say that was a good workout.

Really though, hope you feel better. I've got a sinus infection coming on something serious and it's hard to think, let alone train.

1 hour recovery ride #1 - It was good, if only training were like that all the time.. first 30 minutes went by quite fast but then I noticed and watched the time as it passed slowly for the last 30 min, I hate indoors.

Last night: 45 minutes with 3 sets of crit intervals while playing in rush-hour traffic and trying to dodge rain. I ran into a friend after finishing the first set, he decided to sit on my wheel for the second set, when I hit the third rep he quit. I think I'm getting fitter. (I said fitter, not fatter dammit)

BTW I did "Staring at Fitness Chicks Doing Stiff Legged Deadlift" Intervals last night. THat was after I pulled up a 405 stiff legged (no lifting straps)

1.5hr w/ 7x2min @ max (but sorta paced so I didn't blow up). Ended up with 5.7w/kg for the first 6, and finished em off with the last one at 6.1w/kg.

Hahaha, nope. Cold, and I've been fatigued this week for some reason. Hopefully it's just because I've been struggling to sleep a bit more than usual, not because I'm coming down with anything. Planning on some big days for the 2nd half of the week, which is my usual pattern anyway.
